Daylight Savings Time sucks! I suggest that we all peacefully protest it by setting our clocks to the proper time and living as if DST never existed.
1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:
"From the future as well as the past" T.S. Eliot, quoted in the Miller translation of the Bhagavad Gita.
2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?:
My bookshelf.
3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?:
Probably Joan of Arcadia, though I might have watched a little bit of The View the other day. Oh, I just remembered that I watched Adult Swim on Sunday with
brandeks.
4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is:
12:45 p.m.
5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?:
12:30 p.m.
6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?:
The soap my mom is watching on TV.
7: When did you last step outside? what were you doing?:
I was outside about an hour ago, I had just returned home from school. It was windy and cold out there!
8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?:
moonwhispers
9: What are you wearing?:
Matching black shirt and skirt. Underwear (white) and a bra (black). My Chinese Zodiac pendant.
10: Did you dream last night?
Unless there's something wrong with a person, we dream every night. So yes, I dreamed last night. Unfortunately, I don't remember it.
11: When did you last laugh?
A little bit earlier today when looking at The Onion.
12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?:
A King Arthur puzzle, the red and black spiderweb dreamcatcher Robert and Renee gave me, a weird but cool picture my sister drew, photos of my family.
13: Seen anything weird lately?:
What's weird? I looked at myself in the mirror earlier; does that count?
14: What do you think of this quiz?:
It's okay. More interesting than some. Mostly I'm using it as a substitute for actual journal content.
15: What is the last film you saw?:
Boogie Nights
16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?:
A house.
17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:
I don't know if there's anything about me that you all don't know. Perhaps that my brother threw a rock at me when I was 6 and I bled from the head. I thought he'd nearly killed me, but it was really only a scratch.
18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?:
We would all know how to resolve conflict peacefully and use that skill whenever necessary.
19: Do you like to dance?:
Definitely!
20: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?:
That will be something hopefully decided by myself and the father when we have children. I used to think about this when I was younger, but I realized some years ago that it wasn't really fair for me to name all the kids myself. Plus these things are better when chosen together.
21: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?:
See above.
22: Would you ever consider living abroad?
Probably. I mean, I'm applying for study abroad right now, so I guess that sounds like yes, but the closer it gets, the more I realize that I'd rather stay here. I think I'd rather visit than live there.
23: Will you pass on this survey?:
If posting it here counts, yes.
